CORE AGRICULTURAL ACTIVITIES
- Crop Production & Horticulture: Cultivation of beans, maize, bananas, sweet potatoes, vegetables, fruits, herbs, cash crops, hybrids, and flowers using modern farming methods such as tunnel farming, tissue culture, and biotech cultivation.
- Livestock & Poultry Farming: Rearing of cattle, goats, sheep, poultry, rabbits, pigs, and bees, with a focus on genetic improvement and disease control.
- Aquaculture & Fisheries: Fish farming and fishing operations to meet both domestic and export demand.
- Agro-Processing & Trade: Processing, packaging, importing, exporting, and marketing agricultural produce including cereals, pulses, edible oils, spices, and confectionery.
- Agri-Input Supply: Import and sale of fertilizers, seeds, pesticides, and irrigation systems.
- Animal Health & Veterinary Services: Control of livestock diseases such as PPR, foot and mouth disease, brucellosis, rabies, hemorrhagic infections, and black quarter.
- Innovation & Mentorship: Facilitating farm-related innovation, working with government and NGOs to improve farming techniques and diversify agricultural opportunities.
KEY ACHIEVEMENTS
- Established multiple operational farms producing staple crops and high-value vegetables,
and two poultry farms of 350 and 500 capacities. - Successfully implemented two poultry projects for Kuroilers and Layers funded by
Resolution Fellowship and Youth Empowerment Fund respectively. - Successfully implemented livestock genetic improvement programs increasing productivity
in cattle, poultry, and goats. - Introduced modern irrigation and tunnel farming systems to boost year-round production.
- Built partnerships with local and commercial farmers, suppliers, and distributors for
reliable agricultural input and output markets. - Delivered farmer training and mentorship programs that have improved yields and incomes
for local communities.
